About the role
Play Patch ELC is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director to join our team in Coorparoo, QLD. As the Assistant Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of our early learning centre. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.
This position offers flexible hours to suit work-life balance needs.
What you\'ll be doing
* Assisting the Centre Director in leading a team of dedicated early childhood educators
* Ensuring the provision of high-quality educational programs that align with the National Quality Framework
* Implementing effective strategies for behaviour guidance and positive learning environments
* Maintaining strong relationships with families and the local community
* Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
* Providing mentorship and support to the education team
* Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre\'s operations
What we\'re looking for
* Minimum 3 years\' experience in a similar Assistant Director or leadership role within the early childhood education sector
* Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field required
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and regulations governing early childhood education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, children, and the team
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team of educators
* Passionate about creating nurturing and engaging learning environments for children
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
* Valid Working with Children Check is required for this position
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
