This is a Payroll Accounting Intern, 2026 Summer Australia role with Atlassian based in Barangaroo, NSW, AU. Atlassian Role Seniority - intern. This role is located in the Australian Eastern Timezone. You must be willing and able to work out of this time zone to qualify. This role is part of our Payroll Team, composed of people with backgrounds in Payroll, Human Resources and Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with processing ANZ payroll for 5000 employees.
* Produce reports and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed, including vendor uploads and integrations.
* Help process accurate quarter‐end and year‐end reporting.
* Partner with HR to respond to employee inquiries.
* Assist the payroll team and internal partners with special projects.
* Maintain payroll procedures and SOX controls.
Minimum Qualifications
* This program is open to students who will complete their degree studies by January 2028 or who have completed their Bachelor's or Master's degree studies in the previous year.

* Success with embracing and driving change.
* Excel experience.
* Good customer service, organisational, and prioritisation abilities.
