We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapy services to our residents, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement interventions that enhance daily living skills and promote independence for our residents.
Working largely independently with aged care clients, you will also be supported by colleagues within the Regents Garden Group network. While a background in aged care is advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates with diverse experience in the field.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist who is passionate about improving the quality of life for residents. The ideal candidate will:
* Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist.
* Demonstrate knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, the ACQSC, and (where applicable) NDIS Codes of Conduct and Practice Standards (preferred).
* Have strong clinical assessment skills, particularly in mobility, range of movement, and pain management.
* Be confident in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised Therapy and Mobility Care Plans.
* Possess experience in designing and overseeing physiotherapy programs, including group, individual, spa, and gym-based activities.
* Be capable of supervising, mentoring, and coordinating Physiotherapy Assistants while fostering teamwork with nursing and care staff.
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
