Are you a CNC Machine Setter looking to play a vital role in the setup and manufacture of precision CNC machined parts?
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the first-offs meet the required specifications, and you maintain effective use of CNC machinery as well as:
* Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
* Set up and manufacture parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards.
* Monitor CNC Machine Operators to guarantee compliance with operational instructions.
* Produce high-quality parts that meet stringent quality standards.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings/diagrams and utilise calibrated measuring equipment appropriately.
Skills and experience required
* Trade Certified Machinist or currently pursuing accredited training to obtain a Trade Certificate (preferred).
* Proficient in recognising and using calibrated measuring equipment.
* Experience in CNC machinery operation.
* Knowledge of the Defence Industry is highly advantageous.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Familiarity with Quality Standards and Requirements.
* Proven ability to train and mentor others.
