Overview
The Busselton Tee-Ball Association is seeking enthusiastic volunteer coaches to lead teams of junior players (ages 6–10) on Saturday mornings from 8:00–10:30 am during school terms. This role includes coaching a team and supporting them through their weekly game.
Responsibilities
* Teach and develop fundamental tee-ball skills including batting, throwing, catching, running, and fielding.
* Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a supportive and fun environment.
* Organise and run short warm-ups, drills, and practice activities before games.
* Work with parents, team managers, and association volunteers to ensure sessions and games run smoothly.
* Be a positive role model for young players, celebrating effort and improvement as much as results.
Qualifications and requirements
* No prior coaching experience is required; training, resources, and plenty of support will be provided.
* What matters most is enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for helping kids enjoy sport and being part of a team.
Commitment and time
* Regular - less than 6 months
* Time required: 8:00–10:00 am allocated for coaching and a game
