HORTCULTURIST - Local Council Parks & Gardens
Responsibilities
* General garden maintenance, planting, mulching and trimming of native flora
* Weed spray and management
* Turf maintenance
* Knowledge in reticulation installation and maintenance
* Experience in Hardscape + Construction, retaining walls and garden beds etc
* Use of ride on mowers and small plant equipment such as
* Brush cutters
* Chainsaws
* Whipper snippers
* Blowers
* Hedgers & Edgers
* Zero turn ride on mowers or similar
* Working efficiently whilst keeping a focus on your health and safety
Qualifications
* White card
* Experience in the use of Ride on Mowers (desirable)
* Pest Management Technician Licence (desirable)
* Minimum 6 month's experience within a landscaping role
* Valid driver's licence (HR desirable)
* Current National Police Clearance
