We partner with major clients across mining, defence, infrastructure, marine, energy and industrial maintenance, providing services including scaffolding and engineered access, rope access, shutdown services, coatings, insulation and cladding, confined space management and project access management.
The Role
Due to sustained growth across mining operations, defence programs and infrastructure projects, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business, strengthen client relationships and support long‐term growth across WA. This role focuses on early opportunity identification, proactive client engagement, and converting pipeline activity into secured work across projects, shutdowns and term contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across mining, defence, infrastructure, marine, resources and industrial markets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with mine operators, asset owners, EPCMs, government agencies and head contractors
* Proactively track upcoming tenders, shutdowns, maintenance programs and capital works
* Lead opportunity capture and tender strategy in collaboration with estimating, operations and leadership teams
* Prepare and present capability statements, proposals and commercial submissions
* Support negotiations and contract award processes
* Attend client meetings, site visits, briefings and industry events
* Maintain CRM records and provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
About You
* Proven experience in business development or sales within mining, industrial services, construction, infrastructure or defence
* Strong understanding of service‐based contracting environments (scaffolding, access services, shutdowns, coatings or similar)
* Established networks within the mining sector; defence and infrastructure exposure highly regarded
* Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and influencing skills
* Confident communicator able to engage with senior operational and commercial stakeholders
* Self‐motivated, organised and results‐driven
* Willingness to travel to client sites as required
