TheLubrication Technicianis responsible forthe safe installation, servicing and maintenance of workshop lubrication and reticulation systems, including oil, grease,airand water pipework.
The role supports workshopfit‐outs, new equipmentinstallationsand ongoing service work, ensuring all systems meetrequiredtechnical, safety,qualityand compliance standards. This position plays a key role in workshop efficiency, equipmentreliabilityand customer satisfaction,representingthe business professionally onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and layout of workshop lubrication, oil,airand water reticulation systems
- Install oil, grease, air and water pipework, hose reels, pumps,tanksand associated components
- Interpret drawings,specificationsand installation plans
- Perform all work in compliance with WHS legislation, company policies,proceduresand safe work instructions
- Identifyhazards, assessrisksand applyappropriate controlsfor installation and service activities
- Ensure isolation, depressurisation and lock-out procedures are followed for oil,airand water systems
- Maintain required licences, competencies and training for pipework,installationand site access
Qualifications
- Trade, mechanical or technical qualification relevant to pipework, fluid systems, hydraulics or workshop equipment Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
- Experience installing and servicing oil, grease, air or water reticulation systems
- Exposure to workshop fit-outs or industrial pipework installations
- Field-based experience working on active customer sites
- Experience with lubrication equipment, pumps, hose reels and fluid transfer systems (desirable)
- Strong safety awareness and disciplined work practices
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Practical problem-solving approach
- Reliable, organised and accountable
- Clear communicator with customers and team members
