Job Opportunity: Lighting Tower Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lighting Tower Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our lighting tower fleet.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or auto electrical trade, with excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. You will work closely with our crew technicians, supervisors, and support staff to coordinate tasks and meet service targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on lighting towers
* Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operation and delivery of high-quality services
* Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and promote our products and solutions
* Uphold stringent safety standards by following all site procedures, completing job safety assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, suggesting solutions, and developing best practices
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, faults identified, and parts used
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade qualification in Mechanical or Auto Electrical highly regarded
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Commitment to safety and experience working in mine site or high-risk environments
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to travel or work on-site as needed
