Are you a technically hands-on engineering leader looking to drive high-impact digital transformation across government services? We're seeking an EL1 Engineering Lead to deliver complex cloud-native solutions and guide agile teams in a fast-paced federal environment.
🔧 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading the design and implementation of modern software systems and APIs
* Building containerised applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
* Developing secure and scalable APIs in Golang and TypeScript (REST and GraphQL)
* Automating infrastructure deployment using Terraform and AWS
* Driving DevOps practices through CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub/GitLab
* Ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.1), security, and performance best practices
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams including BAs, QAs, and business stakeholders
Tech Stack & Skills:
* Proficient in Golang, TypeScript, and React
* Solid experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Expertise in CI/CD, Vault, Artifactory, and secure software development
* Familiar with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
* Bonus: Experience with React Native, Postgres/MySQL, or mobile development

* Australian Citizenship is essential for this federal contract
