We are seeking to establish a pool of Early Childhood Education Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Manjimup Education Support Centre (MESC) is a Kindergarten to Year 12 facility in Manjimup that supports students with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and/or autism spectrum disorders. The centre personalises learning and collaborates with families and support agencies to create pathways for vocational and independent living.
With over 30 years of experience, MESC currently serves 29 students with intensive staff support and small class sizes averaging seven students. Operating as a 'school within a school’, MESC shares the campus with Manjimup Primary and Senior High Schools, focusing on student abilities and fostering economic independence, well-being, and community contribution.
The Role
As a member the MESC team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative Teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student. You will ideally be actively involved both within the school and wider community, highly reflective of your teaching practices and committed to evidence-based decision making and differentiation.
Suitable applicants should be motivated and possess the ability to teach in an early childhood education setting. Suitable applicants should be knowledgeable about the broader Western Australian Curriculum. As an Early Childhood Education Teacher, you will ideally deliver a differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential.
