Our locations in St Kilda, Hawthorn, Point Cook, and Mordialloc are beloved by locals and visitors alike, and we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Relief Manager to assist in leading our teams and drive operational excellence across all venues.
About the Role
As the Relief Manager, you’ll play a central role in assisting our Operations team with overseeing the day to day operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and assisting in training our teams. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. It will require working between venues with goals set out by the Operations team,
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-the-ground operations support across multiple venues as directed by Operations team.
* Step in to lead shifts, manage teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while upholding company systems and procedures
* Assist with staff supervision, training and performance feedback
* Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
* Help resolve operational issues, staffing gaps and support to Venue Managers
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations across all venues.
* Demonstrating a strong ability to meet and exceed business KPIs.
* Act as a reliable point of contact between venue teams and the Operations team

* Proven experience as a Venue or Assistant Manager in a high-volume venue
* Exceptional people leadership and communication skills
* A hands on approach during service
