As a senior EW engineer, you will work with advanced AI technology to develop innovative solutions for the counter-drone sector.

This role requires an experienced RF EW engineer to join the team in Adelaide, South Australia.
Responsibilities
* Architect and drive the development of EW signal processing to deploy services with focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability to embedded platforms that utilize Software Defined Radio's (SDR), Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology and Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
* Translate complex traditional and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based algorithms into high-performance production software in Python and C++
* Analyse complex time series, spectral and spatial datasets
* Perform literature surveys for algorithm selection
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar technical field
* 10+ years of experience in software development (Python, C++)
* Demonstrated defence or defence industry work experience in the RF-EW domain
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a scale-up
* Experience in Linux embedded platforms
* Knowledge of modern architectural patterns and software design patterns
* Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Experience with at least one compiled language (Go, C++, or C)
* Knowledge of database systems (SQL or NoSQL)
* Domain knowledge in RF components such as antenna modelling, power amplifiers, digital down-conversion and channelisation, digital filter design, spectrum estimation, direction finding and signal classification
