About the role
Join our dedicated team at GastroHealth Hobart as a Medical Receptionist on a casual basis, with the opportunity for permanent part time for the right candidate. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our specialists.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's appointment diary
* Handling patient inquiries over the phone and in person
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
* Assisting with general office administration tasks as required
* Ensuring a clean and organized work area
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Proficiency in using standard office technology
* A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
* Flexibility to work between Monday - Thursday
