Electrical Estimator Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Estimator to join our construction division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an autonomous role and has a passion for delivering accurate and competitive estimates.
* This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency of electrical projects. You will be responsible for analysing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to identify and quantify all required materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of electrical industry and safety standards. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects
* Analysing project specifications and drawings to identify required materials, labour, and subcontractor costs
* Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency
* Supporting project planning and ensuring all estimates align with budgetary and operational goals

* Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Estimator
* Strong technical knowledge and capabilities
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
