Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Clinician to support young people aged 12–25 in a youth-focused mental health setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate individual to join our dedicated team.
The successful applicant will play a key role in early intervention and therapeutic support for young people, delivering high-quality, collaborative, and strengths-based care. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting intake, screening, and bio-psycho-social and risk assessments
* Delivering evidence-based individual and group interventions
* Developing collaborative care and safety plans
* Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation
* Participating in community engagement, outreach, and group work
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, best-practice services
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing)
* Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW)
* At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in youth mental health
* Skills in assessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and families
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
