Job Description
Position located at the new Mount Lawley Hospital. This is a recruitment pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Part Time and Full Time positions with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Key Responsibilities
Leads the multi‐disciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients in the Internal Medicine Unit and promotes patient safety and quality of care.
Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, works to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets. Works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
Conditions and Screening
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Applicants must undertake criminal records screening, integrity checking and, if required, a working with children check. A pre‐employment health assessment may also be required. Adverse information will be considered as part of the appointment process. This position is subject to Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
