Education Business Services is the key provider of professional business services and support for Western Australian public schools, statutory boards and divisions of the Department. These highly valued services are delivered through the areas of finance, information and communication technologies, and infrastructure. We continually strive to enhance the capability and responsiveness of our staff, systems and processes across the organisation to deliver high quality education.
About the Job
As a key part of our Department's senior leadership team, the Executive Director Infrastructure leads the strategic long-term infrastructure and land planning for the WA education system.
The Executive Director Infrastructure will lead the provision of an array of functions and service deliveries including land planning, student enrolment forecasting, infrastructure planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs, security and sustainability programs, and the provision of policies, standards, and facilities-related services.
The role provides strategic leadership in the development and operation of a variety of programs across the Department, oversees infrastructure investment and provides financial stewardship, leads research and analysis of issues impacting the Department, and provides practical and strategic advice to the Minister, Director General, and Corporate Executive.
