Role Details:

Are you a people focused recruiter who thrives on building relationships and understanding what teams really need? Join us at the Department for Child Protection as a Recruitment Partner, where stakeholder engagement sits at the core of your work. You will partner with offices and hiring managers to understand their workforce requirements, provide tailored recruitment advice and guide them through compliant and timely processes. This is a hands on, collaborative role focused on supporting each business area to find the right people. You will coordinate attraction activities, represent DCP at career expos and community events, and build networks that strengthen our talent pipeline. Working closely with senior leaders, operational managers and internal stakeholders, you'll contribute to consistent, effective recruitment practice across the organisation.

What you will be doing

* Partnering with offices and hiring managers to understand their workforce needs and tailor recruitment approaches.
* Providing practical advice on attraction, sourcing, selection and compliance.
* Supporting leaders through end to end recruitment activities to ensure a positive and consistent experience.
* Representing DCP at career expos and engaging with prospective candidates.
* Working with internal teams to improve recruitment processes and address day to day challenges.
* Identifying opportunities to uplift recruitment capability across the organisation.

What you will bring

* Initiative, curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to represent DCP positively at events and stakeholder engagements.

Why this role matters

This position is the primary recruitment support for offices across DCP. Your ability to understand what each area needs, build strong relationships and provide timely, practical guidance directly shapes how we attract and select the best people for our teams, ensuring children and families are supported by skilled and committed staff.

If you are ready for a hands‑on recruitment role where stakeholder engagement and tailored support are central, we encourage you to apply.
