Better by Miles is a well-established allied health clinic located within Goodlife Health Clubs Jindalee + Indooroopilly, operating in the local community for nearly 10 years. We are a team of Accredited Exercise Physiologists & Exercise Scientists that deliver high-quality, outcomes-focused care.
Our clients span rehabilitation, injury prevention, chronic condition management, performance, and general health and wellbeing.
Over the past 10 years, we have built a strong reputation, a consistent word-of-mouth client base, and a robust referral network with local GPs, physiotherapists and allied health providers.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Massage Therapist / Myotherapist (minimum 2 years' experience) to operate as a contractor within our Jindalee clinic. This role is a contractor arrangement and hours and income are flexible and will naturally grow as your client base grows.
Contractors are expected to be available for 3-4 days per week to effectively build and maintain their client base.
You may begin with a small or developing client load, and over time your availability and earnings will reflect the clients you build and retain, with the support of Better by Miles.

Ongoing marketing and advertising efforts by Better by Miles to promote clinic services and increase visibility
These elements are designed to support client growth, but they do not replace the contractor's responsibility to actively market themselves, convert enquiries, and retain clients.
You'll Be
Delivering 1:1 treatment sessions to clients
Treating a wide range of presentations including musculoskeletal pain, injury recovery, chronic conditions, and general wellbeing
Actively building, managing, and retaining your own caseload
Developing strong, long-term client relationships
Promoting your services within the clinic and broader community
Representing the clinic at local events and health initiatives when required
You will work from a fully equipped private treatment room within Goodlife Jindalee, a premium facility with 3,000+ members, strong foot traffic, and excellent amenities.

Has a clear understanding of and is comfortable working as a contractor
Is highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial to build a weekly client load, with our support
Is proactive in marketing themselves and forming referral relationships
Wants long-term growth within an allied health clinic environment
Is reliable, organised, and accountable for their outcomes
Is warm, professional, and confident with clients
Is passionate about high-quality, hands-on therapy
Enjoys working within a supportive, collaborative team culture
Your Qualifications & Experience
You'll need:
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Massage Therapy, Myotherapy/Health Science
Current professional association membership (e.g. MMA, AMT, AAMT, etc.)
Minimum 2 years' industry experience
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Professional Indemnity Insurance
