**Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House**:
The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House is a Commonwealth government agency located in a nationally iconic heritage listed building. The agency helps people to understand Australia’s social and political history by interpreting the past and present and exploring the future.
**The Opportunity**:
You will join this small and diverse **Marketing and Communications Team** who collaboratively support the organisation to build an engaging public profile and presence. This team is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing, media and communications campaigns to **drive visitation to MoAD exhibitions, events and experiences.**

- Grow the museums social media platforms and identify emerging opportunities for further engagement
**The Role**:
You will support major milestones for MoAD through social media, which includes a **new brand rollout** and **drive marketing for upcoming events** such as ‘Behind the Lines’.
- Develop and implement MoAD’s social media strategy with a focus on audience engagement
- Manage the social media content production lifecycle across multiple platforms which include Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Evaluate social media campaigns for events, exhibitions, and other initiatives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to populate and manage an editorial calendar
**The Ideal Person**:
You will have experience as an **APS6 or equivalent level within communications, social media and/or marketing.**
You will also:
- Be a strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Experience developing social media content
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite and Sprout Social desirable but not essential
- Videography skills are highly desirable but not essential
- Robust writing and editing skills with an audience focus
- Experience within communications, marketing, and/or social media is highly desirable
**You must be an Australian citizen and hold a Baseline Clearance or be willing to obtain one to be successful in this role.**
**Salary / Rate**:
- $80,953 - $93,208 + 15.4% super or **salary match for current APS employees**:
- Work from home up to two days per week
- Non-ongoing contract and **S26 temporary transfer options available**
