About the role
LSA Demolition Pty Ltd is a small family owned Dailtiiona dn Asbestos Removal Company based in Roma South West QLD servicing ALL of Queensland. Due to rapid growth and damand, LSA Demolition is seeking experienced and hardworking Labourer/Machine Operator/Asbestos Removalist/s to join our team on a casual basis, work base being Roma, QLD. As a key member of our demolition and asbestos removal crew/s, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
* Operate various demolition removal equipment, including hand tools, excavators, bobcats, and specialised other removal tools
* Perform manual labour tasks such as demolition, debris removal, site preparation, and cleanup
* Assist in the safe and compliant handling, removal, and disposal of asbestos materials (Asbestos Removalists)
* Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
* Prior experience in a similar labourer, machine operator, or asbestos removal role is desirable but not necessary (training can be provided to successful applicants)
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding manual tasks
* Proficient in the operation of demolition and asbestos removal equipment (relevant tickets/licences desirable)
* Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations, including asbestos handling (on job training will be provided)
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
* Effective communication and teamwork skills

We also work all over Queensland, so you get to travel and see parts on Queensland project dependant whilst having your travel and accommodation along with a meal allowance provided. Applicants must be willing to work away from base at times. Temporary accommodation can be arranged if relocating until suitable accommodation is secured.
We do offer FIFO opportunities only from Brisbane to Roma fo those interested and not looking to relocate.
