We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join an established Wodonga GP clinic in a job share capacity. Working collaboratively with the existing Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of this busy practice of six GPs.
This is an excellent prospect for an organised, proactive individual to contribute to a thriving practice while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time, job share role.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, including staff management, roster and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with General Practice accreditation agencies and national standards
Collaborate with your job share partner to maintain continuity of leadership and decision-making
Support the delivery of excellent patient services, handling complaints and feedback effectively
Drive quality improvement initiatives and implement practice policies
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as PHN, other medical bodies and suppliers
About You
Proven experience in healthcare management, ideally within a GP practice
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, Medicare, financial management and HR processes
Ability to work collaboratively in a job share arrangement, ensuring seamless handover
Proficiency in practice management software (e.g. Best Practice) is desirable
Commitment to patient-centred care and improving practice performance
