This is a casual role, with shifts typically 0900–1700 weekdays and some weekend afternoon shifts.
You'll deliver engaging individual, group, and community-based activities tailored to residents' physical, social, cultural, and spiritual needs—creating meaningful moments that support dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
We're looking for someone warm, proactive, and people-focused, with the ability to connect easily and bring energy and creativity into everything they do.
No two days are the same!
* Document social profiles of new residents and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of social care plans.
* Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities program.
* Maintain resources for the activities program.
* Prepare newsletters, activity notices and other correspondence for residents and other representatives.
* Assist the General Manager in recruitment, appropriate delegation, and support for volunteers.
* Any other task not defined but within the employee's skills, as directed by the organisation.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in establishing and coordinating a social care or activities program.
* Demonstrated ability to apply an enthusiastic and innovative approach to the development of social care activities.
* Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to utilise information management systems including care planning, notes and emails.
