About the Role

Bayview Haven offers the best of both worlds: a rewarding aged care career in a relaxed, coastal-style setting. Our team delivers high-quality, personalised care in a modern, welcoming home surrounded by landscaped gardens, outdoor green spaces, and light-filled community areas. With freshly prepared meals, engaging lifestyle programs, and strong on-call clinical and operational support, staff are empowered to focus on meaningful care and genuine connection. Whether you're already part of the local community or looking for a fresh start by the coast, Bayview Haven is a supportive, close-knit workplace where you can grow your career and enjoy a better pace of life.

This is a casual role, with shifts typically 0900–1700 weekdays and some weekend afternoon shifts.

You'll deliver engaging individual, group, and community-based activities tailored to residents' physical, social, cultural, and spiritual needs—creating meaningful moments that support dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

We're looking for someone warm, proactive, and people-focused, with the ability to connect easily and bring energy and creativity into everything they do.

No two days are the same!

* Document social profiles of new residents and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of social care plans.
* Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities program.
* Maintain resources for the activities program.
* Prepare newsletters, activity notices and other correspondence for residents and other representatives.
* Assist the General Manager in recruitment, appropriate delegation, and support for volunteers.
* Any other task not defined but within the employee's skills, as directed by the organisation.

About You

* Demonstrated experience in establishing and coordinating a social care or activities program.
* Demonstrated ability to apply an enthusiastic and innovative approach to the development of social care activities.
* Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to utilise information management systems including care planning, notes and emails.

Perks & Benefits

* As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries. Take advantage of a further $2,650 to pay for meals out or holiday accommodation.
* Training and development pathways.
* Supportive leaders who are onsite.
* A friendly, down-to-earth workplace.
* Opportunity to build a long-term career in aged care.
