We are seeking hosts to lead local community sessions and bring people together in a thoughtful, welcoming manner.
About the Role
This role involves managing and leading weekly sessions in your area. Each session is designed to be low-pressure, inclusive, and welcoming for attendees.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests and create a friendly environment that connects with every individual.
* Lead short group activities (10–15 min) at each session.
* Host casual coffee catch-ups after each session to encourage conversation and help others build friendships and community.
* Coordinate event sessions and booking facilitators/practitioners from our network.
* Set up and pack down each session.
* Welcome and check participants in on arrival, ensuring registrations/payouts are complete.
* Assist to promote local sessions in your area and be an ambassador for the initiative.
Time Commitment
The time commitment per session is approximately 2 hours, including set up, structured session, and hosting coffee catch-up.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Confidence working with small groups in public spaces and leading short activities that build connection amongst group members.
* Strong organisational skills and a calm, embracing, presence.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* A desire to be a community leader advocating against loneliness through building local connections.
* A current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
* Your own ABN and valid Public Liability/Professional Indemnity Insurance.
* Ideally, a Working With Children Check and current Police Check.

* A ready-to-go Event Kit for the season, including equipment, signage, and basic session supplies.
* All venue hire/permit arrangements and fees handled by our team.
* Ticket management and attendee management by us, including a user-friendly ticketing platform.
* A trusted network of trained facilitators/practitioners for every session.
* Marketing templates and plans to promote sessions locally and on social media.
* Ongoing support by phone and email, as well as host training and optional networking events.
* Opportunities to participate in or run additional events (additional earning opportunities).
* The ability to promote your own business at other community events.
How You're Paid
This is a contractor role, not an employee position. You'll be paid a flat monthly fee plus a percentage of ticket sales from your hosted sessions.
