**About the Position**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Branch Librarian to join the Osborne Library branch on a permanent, full-time basis. The position is responsible for branch library operations to ensure the provision of an effective and comprehensive library and information service to the community.
**Key Responsibilities**
The duties of the Branch Librarian will include but are not limited to:
- Contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative community development and engagement-based activities and programs targeted to local community need.
- Provide ongoing development of the library as a community space and place that supports and facilitates opportunities for literacy, lifelong learning and building capacity in the community
- Contribute to the ongoing development of library services and the Community Services Business Unit via specific project teams as required and the strategic planning process
- Provide input and feedback for all branch library staff to contribute effectively to the overall operations and ongoing development of the City of Stirling Library Service
**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Library and Information Science and Associate Membership of ALIA
- Demonstrated professional experience as a Librarian with team management capability
- A genuine commitment to the provision of high-quality customer experiences and a desire to raise the profile and perception of the City within the community
- Budgeting and financial management skills

This permanent full-time position is a Level 7/8 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $96,731.43 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
