About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
* Prepare and process payroll
* Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end reporting
* Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
About You
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong work ethic, excellent communicator, and a great team player
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
