About this role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Intake Team, you will be responsible for conducting drug and alcohol assessments with clients, primarily via phone, to determine the most suitable services and facilitate referrals.
Your primary focus will be on providing guidance and information to clients, families, and carers seeking support for alcohol or other drug concerns. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), the Intake Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), the DACS Clinical Nurse Educator, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
