Network Support Professional
As a Network Support professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers in a production environment. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to handle complex customer situations with professionalism and poise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Leadership: Handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations with confidence and expertise.
* Effective Communication: Possess excellent spoken and written English communication skills to interact with customers efficiently.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with teams to gather information quickly, explain customer responsibilities in resolving issues, communicate next steps and status, and inspire confidence.
* Networking Expertise: Experience with networking concepts including Load Balancer, Routing, Switching, and Security.
Requirements:
* 3+ Years of Network Engineer experience supporting production environments, preferably in customer-facing or customer support roles.
* Azure domain experience is highly valued.
* Understanding of geo-redundancy, CDN, and VPN technologies (site-to-site, point-to-site preferred, leased line).
* Familiarity with the OSI model and related concepts.
The successful candidate will have the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues directly and support customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable.
