We are seeking a technically exceptional Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team based in Darwin.

What You'll Do
You will play a critical role in safeguarding financial integrity across the organisation — ensuring reporting is accurate, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on technical position offering strong visibility and influence across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Monthly consolidated reporting — accurate, timely and dependableSupport external audit coordination and management. Including timely accurate submission of all relevant documents, statements and disclosuresPrepare and review all BAS, FBT and IAS returns in accordance with ATO regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to taxation, superannuation, and payroll compliance obligations. Fixed asset governance and asset register integrity Manage journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support the Financial Controller with analysis of financial performance, trends, and variancesFoster collaboration across DCOH departments (internally) and with external stakeholders, including KPMG, banking institutions, and hospitality representativesERP oversight and financial systems management, including JobPac
Skills and Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting and/or Finance. CA or CPA qualification or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferredDemonstrates strong technical accounting capability Have experience operating in multi-entity, multi-currency environments preferredProven working experience as a senior member of a finance function with people management responsibilitiesA background in construction, property development, or project-based environments is desiredThorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in accordance with AASB and IFRS
