Job Overview
This role involves collaborating with our team of Early Childhood Educators to implement high-quality, innovative play-based programs that meet individual and group interests, strengths, and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work according to Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework, and curriculum frameworks to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and educators through effective communication and teamwork.
* Implement warm and intentional interactions with children as a key learning strategy to promote their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
* Document children's learning progress individually and as part of a group to inform teaching practices and improve outcomes.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculums within the learning program to meet the diverse needs of children.
About You
* You will hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification.
* You have a strong understanding of Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework, and curriculum frameworks to ensure compliance and best practice.
* You are able to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues to build trust and foster a collaborative environment.
* You can self-manage work requirements in liaison with the room team and supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* You hold current and valid certifications such as Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management, and Emergency Asthma Management to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
