About the Position

This role requires the expertise of a Security Engineer, a professional with the savvy to troubleshoot and the necessary skills to service complex electronic security systems. This is an opportunity to expand on your knowledge and branch out, testing and challenging yourself.

This position provides a unique opportunity to work within data centers and construction sites, throughout VIC. In this role you will utilize your knowledge of all things electrical, whilst further developing your skills in electronic security.

You will be required to maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including intruder alarms, access control and CCTV, providing services for our systems on sites that offers their own challenges

We will provide

* Full training in security systems such as Genetec, Gallagher, Integriti, is on offer, however, expertise in these and other systems will be the key to your success

Your responsibilities will involve

* Works as directed by your reporting Manager including but not limited to, Service, Maintenance, Installations, Commissioning, Design and Engineering of security solutions.
* Provide quality workmanship relevant to the given task.
* Complete testing in accordance with relevant standards.
* Provide "On the Job" training of apprentices.
* Assist Project Manager to achieve Project objectives.
* Assist Service Co-ordinator to achieve Service objectives.
* Be part of the On-Call After-Hours Service call roster.
* Provide customer satisfaction while meeting Company objectives.
* Complete daily timesheet and submit by due date.
* Complete and seek all required signatures as per individual client needs.
* Assist in updating of As-installed documentation in the event of system changes or alterations.
* Keep correct logs and written correspondence pertaining to each specific Project / Service for filing purposes.
* Participate in training programs appropriate to the position.
* Participate in OHS&R, QA and EMS plans for all projects.
* Attend monthly toolbox meetings.
* Maintain company equipment in good order, report faulty equipment.
* Adhere to Company policies as listed on the company IMS.
* Assist in the development of ISO standards as required.
* Always represent the Business in a professional manner.
* Compliance to all the required ISO standards.
* Report to the Director with any ISMS issues.
* Complete any other tasks requested by the management team.

Requirements

* Manufacturers accreditation with Genetec unified suite of products.
* Current Security Licence for the State in which you work.
* NV1 security Clearance or willing to obtain
* Construction Industry White Card
