About the Role
In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives across our NT operations. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing WHSEQ strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving a culture of safety excellence, and have the opportunity to make a real difference for our people and projects across the Northern Territory.
What You Will Do:
Manage safety and quality management systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with site managers, project teams, and stakeholders to achieve operational safety and quality goals.
Implement and maintain risk management frameworks, audits, and inspection processes for continuous improvement.
Conduct incident investigations and safety inspections and provide detailed reports and recommendations to leadership.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in WHSEQ management within the construction or resources sector.
Strong understanding of work health and safety, environmental, and quality standards/regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead safety initiatives and influence positive culture change in a fast‐paced environment.
Relevant qualifications such as Cert IV/Diploma WHS, Lead Auditor,
Ability to obtain defence clearance i.e. must be an Australian citizen.
