Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper based in Port Macquarie, NSW, with flexibility to work from home. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day financial tasks, such as maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. Additionally, responsibilities include reconciling accounts, processing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insights through financial analysis.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Bookkeeping, financial record management, and preparation of Financial Statements
* Experience with Accounting Software (MYOB, Xero, QB's) and processing Journal Entries
* Knowledge of Finance concepts and compliance requirements
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Bachelor's degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
* Experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable is advantageous
