The NT Remote Locum Program is an initiative that aims to strengthen and uplift existing health services in the Northern Territory. Our program works closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led health organizations to provide quality healthcare to their communities.
We are seeking skilled and experienced dentists to work as part of a holistic community health service team. As a member of our team, you will be supported by highly experienced Aboriginal health practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, drivers, and administration staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide culturally safe oral health care to patients from diverse backgrounds
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive health services
* Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex oral health needs
Requirements:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting
* Minimum 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dentist within the past 12 months
* Current basic life support (BLS) / CPR Certificate
