About the Role
Reporting to the National Mining Manager, this full-time, home-based role in Hobart / Launceston, Tasmania focuses on driving revenue and business development within the mining, HVAC, and industrial sector. In addition, you will:
* Drive specification development and conversion within the assigned territory, managing spend within the approved expense budget
* Grow and develop market opportunities, strengthening Victaulic's presence and pipeline
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, designers, specifiers, and buyers
* Provide technical and commercial support to customers, including product selection, service, problem resolution, and value creation
* Translate budget and revenue targets into actionable territory plans, activities, and priorities
* Maximise territory performance through effective planning, scheduling, and coverage management
* Support training and promotional activities for specifiers, distributors, and contractors
* Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly territory reports, and prepare annual budgets and monthly sales forecasts
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Proven track record managing technical sales or business development, ideally within the mining, HVAC, water, or industrial environment
* Piping systems experience will be an advantage
* Demonstrated experience undertaking site visits and engaging with owners, engineers, and contractors
* Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to challenges
* Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
* Solution-oriented and high analytical and organizational skills.
* A valid Australian Driver's license and willing to travel as required.
