Details: The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a highly motivated Business Consultancy Manager to support the Industry and Innovation team and CIT Solutions Transition Group.
The Manager, Business Consultancy Services is responsible for:
* Coordinate business consultancy services including Recognition of Prior Learning for the Public Sector.
* Coordinate a portfolio of clients.
* Raise awareness of Consultancy Services & Recognition of Prior Learning for the Public Sector by promoting relevant products, services and opportunities to clients.
* Cultivate, maintain, build and enhance client relationships.
* Coordinate client contractual reporting requirements.
* Proactively recognise client needs and with support, broker appropriate solutions.
* Contribute to innovative, creative and cost-efficient solutions for clients.
* Assist with designing robust systems and processes to support the client journey.
* Assist with identifying, managing and mitigating risk for successful project outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
* Act as a point of contact for SME facilitators to support and retain their services.
* Coordinate invoicing and payments for projects.
* Contribute to responses to Requests for Quote and provide information to Request for Tenders.
* Analyse data for trends and, under supervision, write reports to present results and opportunities.
* Identify and action logistical support required for delivering client requirements and where necessary assist with tasks such as contracting facilitators and required project management and administrative tasks.
* Accurately maintain client record management systems.
* Coordinate master copies of program resources in accordance with CIT policies and procedures.
This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
* All CIT and ACTPS employees are required to complete a criminal history record check form prior to employment.
Highly desirable
* Significant experience in business development and project management in the VET sector.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, manage projects and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Demonstrated ability to adjust to new situations and challenges, demonstrating agility and resilience and a continuous improvement mindset.
* The capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast-paced commercial environment.
* The capability to effectively communicate and provide advice ensuring clarity and common understanding.
* Demonstrated ability to model the CIT cultural traits and ACT Public Service values and signature behaviours.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months.
Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
As a member of the CITSOL Transition group staff will have opportunities for flexible working options and could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office-based work from all CIT Campuses, part-time hours, flexible start and finish times.
