The Team: Are you looking to balance life and work? We are seeking a Cleaner to join our dynamic team at the Deloraine District Hospital, a short 25 minute drive from Launceston. The Deloraine District Hospital is a 20 bed Acute care facility that includes Palliative Care and General Medical Care. The Hospital coordinates the delivery of a broad range of community and allied services within the Meander Valley. We strive to deliver personalised care in a calm, welcoming and warm environment while being innovative and having a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities
* Clean allocated areas of the hospital in accordance with infection control standards.
* Assist in food preparation, delivery, and cleaning within the kitchen area, maintaining high standards of food safety.
* Maintain appropriate administrative records as directed in designated roles.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the provision of cleaning procedures in health-related areas.
* Demonstrated knowledge of infection control processes in relation to laundry and cleaning services.
* An understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in cleaning procedures in health-related areas and infection control knowledge preferred.
* Understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice.
* Ability to work in a hospital environment and follow infection control standards.
Details
Details of appointment: Permanent shift worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, as soon as we can onboard you. Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary packaging and other benefits may apply to eligible candidates.
