Administration Officer/Basic Store Officer
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administration Officer/Basic Store Officer.
About The Role
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the business, including organizing freight, performing basic accounting tasks, creating invoices, and answering phone calls.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and track dispatched freight
* Reconcile credit cards and create invoices for customers
* Answer and transfer phone calls, take messages from customers, and keep work safety documentation current
* Book flights and accommodation, and use Microsoft Office programs like Word and PowerPoint
* Create POs for mechanical components through the purchasing system and ensure deliveries match POs and invoices
Additional Responsibilities:
* Pack freight into designated areas in the store and forward client emails to appropriate recipients
* Handle client concerns and complaints, greet visitors in the office, and communicate with upper management and other employees
* Sort and deliver mail within the office, maintain inventory of office supplies, and organize office files for easy access
* File documents digitally and physically, and maintain office equipment such as scanners, fax machines, printers, and phones
Your Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Current Australian driver's license
* At least 2 contactable references
* Awareness of workplace health and safety
