Drill Technician
AWE is seeking skilled Drill Technicians to join our team.
This role is suited to a high-performing technician who thrives in a fast-paced field environment, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance support across mobile mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on drill rigs
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
* Conducting rebuilds and component change-outs
* Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems on mobile plant and drill rigs
About This Role:
The successful candidate will have strong diagnostics skills, be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, possess extensive experience in mining environments as well as strong fault-finding capabilities. Experience working on OEM equipment such as CAT Komatsu Bucyrus Sandvik Epiroc etc is highly desirable.
