PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Full-time, three (3) year fixed term contract - based at Mannum
Mid Murray Council is seeking an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Procurement Officer to coordinate the efficient and effective operation of Council's Procurement Systems.
About the role
Reporting to the Director Corporate & Financial Services, the Procurement Officer's key focus areas are to:
· Oversee and coordinate procurement services for Council assets and supplies.
· Advise staff on procurement and contract administration.
· Tender preparation, assisting in assessment and contract management.
· Undertake analysis of procurement issues and deliver innovative solutions.
· Coordinate educational sessions and manage supplier contracts.
