DMG Fine Wine is a diversified premium wine and spirits company with a portfolio that rivals any global luxury house. Backed by significant investment and an aggressive acquisition strategy, the business has assembled a collection of brands that span Australia’s finest terroirs and the world’s most prestigious spirits categories.
Unlike traditional wine companies constrained by single‑category thinking, DMG operates as a portfolio of distinct businesses, each requiring tailored commercial strategies, channel expertise, and brand positioning. This complexity is our competitive advantage – and it demands exceptional commercial leadership.
The Opportunity
DMG Fine Wine is seeking a transformational commercial leader to architect and execute an ambitious growth strategy across Australia’s most distinctive premium wine and spirits portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity to build something exceptional – taking a dynamic, acquisitive business to exponential growth and reorganising a high‑performing sales organisation. We seek a Head of Sales who will serve as the commercial engine of our enterprise—a strategic leader, brand guardian, and revenue architect who will elevate DMG Fine Wine to new heights of market prominence and profitability.
Reporting directly to the CEO and joining the Executive Leadership Team, you will have full P&L accountability for domestic commercial operations and the autonomy to shape the future of one of Australia’s most exciting wine and spirits businesses.
"This is not a caretaker role. We are seeking a builder – someone who sees complexity as opportunity and has the ambition to create market‑leading commercial capability."
