Regional Workforce Management – Toowoomba QLDOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Services Officer to support a new Regional Housing Coordination Program aimed at improving the management of subsidised teacher housing across Queensland.This is an excellent opportunity for a property- or infrastructure-focused professional who enjoys regional engagement, problem solving, and supporting frontline staff through practical, reliable service delivery.Based in Toowoomba, highly flexible, and able to work up to two days from home each week.
AO6 role (38 hour week) on a contract from December **** to 30 June ****, initial temporary contract.ResponsibilitiesSupport tenancy and leasing activities, including inspections and complex property matters.Coordinate maintenance and repair work with QBuild and contractors.Ensure compliance with tenancy legislation and departmental policies.Support the rollout of the Employee Housing System (EHS) and maintain accurate data.Provide high-quality advice to Principals, Local Accommodation Committees, and regional stakeholders.Build strong working relationships across schools, committees, and internal teams.Reduce administrative workload for school-based staff by handling operational housing tasks.Contribute to broader infrastructure, planning and asset management activities within the team.Prepare reports, briefings and departmental documentation as required.QualificationsStrong experience in infrastructure services, property management, planning, or asset management.Ability to analyse and solve complex issues in regional or dispersed environments.Excellent communication skills, with confidence working with school leaders and regional stakeholders.Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver high-quality work.A commitment to public sector values including accountability, professionalism and service delivery.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and all applications are treated with complete confidentiality.
