What you’ll be doing
* Operating plant equipment such as Excavator, Loader and Forklift.
* Supporting daily transfer station operations
* Eventually assisting with Weighbridge transactions, taking payments and providing customer service.
* Handling and moving waste materials across the facility
* Loading/unloading waste, stockpiling, and processing materials
* Screening and sorting different waste streams to ensure correct disposal
What you’ll bring
* Previous experience as a plant operator, yard hand or labouring
* Excavator, Loader & Forklift tickets and/or experience are not required but desirable
* Previous experience in landfill or waste facility experience is beneficial
* Waste industry and transfer station experience highly regarded
* Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
* Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety
