**About the role**
The HSE Advisor will provide support to several projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety and Environment management systems. You will also assist the Senior HSE Advisor with strategic and operational oversight of our health, safety and environment streams.

**_Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**
- Conduct workplace inspections and schedule compliance
- Lead HSE investigations
- Conduct audits, risk assessments and hazard analysis
- Support health awareness and management
- Assist in the development of procedures and Safe Work Methods Statements
- Support business HSE reporting and the communication of HSE trends
- Coordinate fitness for work initiatives, including drug and alcohol testing

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
- Have a Certificate IV, diploma or degree in Health, Safety & Environment, or similar discipline
- Have a working knowledge of HSE and legislation
- Experience in conducting HSE incident investigations, utilising an industry recognised investigation methodology, such as ICAM
- Experience in providing advice and support to management on operational matters relating to HSE
- Experience in conducting management system audits and hold internal auditors training
- Have an intermediate level of IT literacy, including the MS Office Suite
- Be a service orientated team player with a "can do" attitude and extensive experience building and maintaining strong working-relationships with internal & external stakeholders alike
- Hold a current Drivers Licence and the ability to travel between facilities
