About The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a passion for clinical trials? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment, supporting innovative research and improving patient care?
We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and preparing investigational medications, collaborating with researchers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist the registered pharmacists in the provision of a range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of the hospital.
Where You'll Be Working
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.
The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.
Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.
Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.
Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.

* Must hold appropriate qualification as per the Health Employees' (State) Award for a Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 - (Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy support (HLT40507) or equivalent)
* Outline your experience and qualifications as a pharmacy technician, including any experience with investigational products or working withing a clinical trials setting.
* Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic preparation of medicines and dispensing of complex medicines.
* Demonstrated attention to detail including the ability to maintain accurate records in a complex healthcare environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, including pharmacists, medical officers, nursing staff and researchers.
