Adelaide International School invites applicants for the following positions:
One 0.5 fixed contract position for SACE Exploring Identities and Futures (EIF), Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) and learning support. Contract begins Week 0 20th January, Term ending at the conclusion of Term with extension a possibility. 3 days per week is likely.
One 0.8 short-term fixed term contract (replacement for leave) for 11 and 12 English as an Additional Language and one other subject. Part Term days per week.
Teachers keen to share their innovative pedagogy, enthusiasm for EAL learners, interest and curiosity in students originating from various countries are encouraged to apply.
Salary is commensurate with the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.

Teachers develop a love of learning in their students. They are passionate and innovative and will demonstrate a strong commitment to cultural understanding, development of language skill and ongoing professional learning. Teaching and learning programs cater for a diverse cohort of students with careful consideration for developing student agency, meta cognition and reflective learners for those whose first language is not English.
Essential Criteria
* Motivated and innovative teacher who is a highly effective communicator
* Registered to teach or capacity to be registered in South Australia with appropriate qualification - Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education minimum.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Responding to Risks of Harm and Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN)
* First Aid (For Schools and Centres)
* Active participation in regular performance reviews.
Desirable Criteria
* TESOL qualification - one or more of the following: Certificate III, IV, Graduate Certificate and/or Masters in TESOL
* Demonstrated experience working with ACARA and/or SACE curriculum.
* Demonstrated experience/knowledge of Cambridge Courses
