Responsible for the performance of daily finance assistance tasks in a fast-paced and friendly environment. Working closely with the Management Accountant you will also assist with data collection for monthly reporting.
In a typical day in this role, you might:
* Monitor auto-posting of daily journals as required from the RTP|One POS system and/or Guestcentrix Hotel Management system.
* Reconciliation of delegated balance sheet accounts, including RTP|One, Guestcentrix sub-ledger accounts and other payment clearing accounts as required.
* Assist the AP Controller with data entry and supplier reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the accounts payable function.
* Identify and investigate discrepancies between payment platforms and the accounting system. Assist the AP Controller with data entry and supplier reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the accounts payable function.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Computer literacy with most recent versions of Microsoft platforms (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated intermediate skill level in most recent versions of Microsoft Office software suite, in particular Excel.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* TAFE Certificate or other Tertiary qualification is highly desirable

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September.
