Job Title: Administration Officer Level 3

Location: Wollongong Hospital, NSW

Salary: $71,072.43 - $73,287.41 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging

Overview

The Medical Workforce Unit (MWU) manages recruitment, appointment, payroll and management of junior medical staff within ISLHD. As an Administration Officer, you will support the Junior Medical Officer Services Unit in providing high‐quality, customer‐focused workforce services, focusing on recruitment, selection, onboarding, contract management and personnel administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for recruitment and human resource management of all non‐specialist medical staff at ISLHD and its associated networks.
  • Ensure recruitment is completed effectively and efficiently, maintaining high quality customer service.
  • Support the Director of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) in managing prevocational medical workforce compliance with relevant HETI and accreditation documentation.
  • Handle personnel administration, including records management and contract administration.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a high‐volume work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.
  • Experience in recruitment and/or HR administration is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
