Are you an experienced Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business based in Yass that is looking to strengthen their operations team with a proactive and detail-driven planner.
This is a key role within the site, responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with customer demand.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules
* Balancing capacity, labour, and material availability
* Coordinating closely with procurement, warehousing, and production teams
* Monitoring inventory levels to minimise waste and optimise stock turns
* Identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
* Supporting S&OP processes and forecasting activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in production planning within food or FMCG manufacturing
* Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
* High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
